Having PTSD comes with many stigmas based on many myths. One myth is that in order to have PTSD you must have a weak mind. Associating PTSD with weakness can make seeking treatment difficult. Nobody wants to be weak. Everyone wants to in charge of their life and how they navigate through it. This is especially true for military personnel charged with defending the country. Some may chose to struggle and suffer through the symptoms instead of seeming weak and getting help.

What advice would you give someone with PTSD symptoms?
