Upcoming Baltimore City Family Leadership Retreat for Parents and Caregivers

The Maryland Coalition of Families (MCF) is now accepting applications for our Family Leadership
Retreat for Baltimore City parents and caregivers, which will be held the weekend of November 2
and 3 at the Inner Harbor. Please help us get the word out to families and caregivers with school-age children with
mental health needs by sharing this e-mail and event flyer with your colleagues, families, providers
and community partners. The application deadline is October 24, 2018.
This retreat offers parents and caregivers an opportunity to learn, connect and relax. More
specifically, caregivers will:
Learn about mental health and other behavioral health services, and how to access supports
Hear from local children’s behavioral health experts
Make connections and share information with other parents and caregivers
We are able to offer this program at no cost to eligible families residing in Baltimore City as the
program is fully funded by the Maryland State Department of Education.
Thank you in advance for sharing this opportunity with your network. If you have any questions, feel
free to contact Reyanna Turner at 443-741-8670 or
